Discover the secrets of a traditional hammam ritual step by step
The traditional hammam is a ritual made up of ancestral gestures and treatments handed down from mother to daughter since... well, since time immemorial! Originating in Morocco, the hammam is not just a steam bath, it's a veritable art of living. Women go there religiously two or three times a week to pamper their skin and get rid of nasty toxins. Imagine yourself in a mist of 100% humidity, with gentle heat flirting with 50°C.
Let yourself be carried away by this sensory journey.
Sweating:
Start your ritual with a short 15-minute session in the enveloping heat of the hammam. This magical steam will flush out toxins and open up your pores, preparing them for the famous black soap scrub. Your skin will never have been so ready to shine!
The scrub:
Lightly rub the skin of your face and body with black soap. Use circular movements. The kessa glove enhances the effects of the black soap to refine skin texture and eliminate impurities.
The rhassoul body wrap:
Moving on to the next step: happily spread yourself with rhassoul. This natural clay is your ally in purifying and removing grease from your skin and hair.
Oil massage:
Let yourself be enveloped by the softness of natural oils that will make you float with lightness. And to top it all off, this modelling session will magically dispel any remaining tension.
Rest:
Give yourself at least half an hour's rest before getting back into the swing of things. This is the perfect time to sip a tea or herbal tea, as is the Eastern tradition.
Inspired by this ritual, we invite you to enjoy the benefits of this humid warmth in the enchanting setting of Chalet & Spa les Cerises. Treat yourself to a wellness break in this intimate and elegant setting - you're worth it!

Wrap yourself in softness with our natural furs for a cocooning feel
Wondering what to do with those old fur coats sitting in the back of the cupboard? Turn them into cushions, of course! That's exactly what we've done with a mink coat and a beaver pelisse. Thanks to the expertise of Maison Arpin in Megève, these pieces have been given a new lease of life, with a touch of Bonneval cloth to boot. Each cushion is a little work of art, proudly displayed in our bedroom and on the sofa in the living room.
The warm colours of the furs harmonise perfectly with the wool rugs around the double bed. A gentle wake-up call, just the way we like it.

Fall asleep in a cosy atmosphere with light fittings in warm colours
Just imagine: above your bed, three timeless hanging lights that add delicate touches of pink. These lights, with their pure geometric shapes, are the secret trick to warming up the atmosphere in the room. When night falls, a warm, romantic atmosphere is magically created. And to complete this cocooning picture, a few decorative objects nestle on the shelves of the dovecote: pots, baskets and even a plane, for a traditional Savoyard touch.

Exceptional craftsmanship with unique bedside tables in Haute-Savoie
Let me tell you the story of these two bedside tables, real partners in our decor. A craftsman with a touch of magic took a piece of solid oak and transformed it into a unique work of art. How did he do it? By coating the wood with molten metal, then polishing it with love and patience. Before that, he patiently worked out the knots in the wood by wetting it every day for three months. The result is a design reminiscent of flowers in relief, ready to catch every ray of light and sparkle with a thousand lights. Believe me, even the chicest hotels in Haute-Savoie don't have anything like it.
Two unique pieces, just for you.
