In our two dream suites, the Aravis Suite and the Mont-Blanc Suite, a steam generator is hidden in the shower to offer you a private hammam. Relax in a Turkish bath atmosphere with humidity close to 100% and let your muscles unwind after a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains.

This little corner of paradise can accommodate up to 10 lucky guests in four luxury suites, nestled in the heart of nature for an intimate mountain experience. A cosy retreat with breathtaking panoramic views, this prestigious chalet is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. The hammam is also, above all, a place for socialising. The bench in this large cabin, located in the ‘Mont-Blanc’ suite, can accommodate three people. A large shower head, a shoulder waterfall and a hand-held shower allow you to refresh yourself in complete serenity.

A steam bath to rejuvenate your skin

For a moment of pure bliss in the hammam, start with a lukewarm or even cold bath for an invigorating boost after your hammam session. Your pores will thank you for it. While the bath is filling up, hop in the shower to get your skin used to the heat.

Then turn on the steam generator and let the temperature rise to 50°C. You'll love the benefits of the hammam: easier breathing, improved blood circulation and well-dilated pores. To top it all off, add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil and say goodbye to congested sinuses. Enjoy!

Hammam: the ultimate wellness treatment for body and mind

Take a deep breath, then exhale slowly... Repeat this for ten minutes and you'll be ready for total relaxation. By focusing on your breathing, you'll clear your mind. It's time to unwind, and our hammam cabins have everything you need: a chromotherapy system to soothe you. Choose blue, for example, the colour of tranquillity.

And why not add some soothing music or mantras via the built-in Bluetooth speaker to transform this session into a true inner journey? A word of advice: leave your jewellery behind before entering. Watches and metal don't like humid heat, and even less so that of a sauna.

BETWEEN TWO CLOUDS OF STEAM, TAKE THE TIME TO PAMPER YOUR BODY

Between two clouds of steam, take the time to pamper your body. Listen to your body and give it a well-deserved break. Don't forget to cool off regularly with the hand-held shower, overhead shower or even the waterfall. For your first hammam session, don't exceed 15 minutes. Then slip into your cosy bathrobe and get some fresh air outside the cabin. A warm bath is perfect for lowering your body temperature and eliminating perspiration. The interplay of hot and cold works wonders on your body, stimulating your immune system in a natural and energising way. And if you really want to be an adventurer in wellness, plunge into cold water to boost this phenomenon of vasodilation and vasoconstriction. A bit like rolling around in the snow after a sauna, it's like an invigorating boost for your body. Forget tranquillity, pure energy awaits you.​​

Drink regularly and stay hydrated: your body will thank you for it

Don't forget to dry yourself off properly and enjoy a well-deserved rest in the Mont-Blanc suite. If possible, get some fresh air by stepping outside or opening the window. Then head to the large panoramic terrace to admire the breathtaking view of the village centre.

This is the perfect opportunity to make yourself a peppermint or lavender infusion, or a fragrant/detox tea to rehydrate. Take advantage of the wood-burning stove to keep your kettle warm and soak up the cosy atmosphere of the flames.

Avoid ice-cold water, as your internal organs won't really appreciate it after the hammam. Instead, opt for room temperature water with a twist of lemon or grapefruit. Cheers!

​​Refine your skin texture with a scrub that works wonders

Ready for some extra relaxation? Return to the hammam, and after ten minutes of steam, your pores will open up as if by magic. This is the ideal time to start exfoliating your skin. With the help of black soap (Rhassoul) and a horsehair glove (Kessa), prepare for a deep exfoliation that removes impurities, dead skin cells and ingrown hairs.

Have fun rubbing in small circular motions, focusing on tough areas such as elbows and heels. You will unclog, eliminate and refine, all while relaxing. Massage, leave on, then rinse off completely in the shower. Step out of the cabin feeling refreshed and in tune with your own well-being.

Remember to give your skin the hydration it deserves

After one last trip to the hammam, all you need to do is pamper your skin with a cream or vegetable oils such as argan, jojoba or coconut oil. Opt for natural cosmetics, which are gentler on the skin – your skin will thank you for it.​

My purifying anti-ageing routine that stimulates and cleanses deeply

Breathe deeply and rest on a towel while your body temperature drops. Your rest time should be as long as your session. You can repeat this ritual three times for optimal results. And if you feel like it, why not alternate with a sauna session? But be careful not to overdo it at first. If you don't feel your best, it's better to shorten these first hammam sessions. Come out slowly, lie down and recover gently. You'll see, you'll want to come back even more next time.​​
