A RARE TABLE, THE CHEF IN AN OPEN KITCHEN, THE FIRE RIGHT NEARBY, AND MONT BLANC RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.
Before the dining experience, there’s the chalet itself. Its suites, its private spa, the tranquillity of Cordon and that view of Mont Blanc that makes all the difference. Discover our page dedicated to the private chalet overlooking Mont Blanc near Megève.
Some tables are unlike any others
In the morning, the Mont Blanc comes into the house even before the sun. In the evening, the table is set in a softer light, the glasses catch the glow of the fire, the chef works in the open-plan kitchen, and the conversations slow down.
At Les Cerises, the kitchen isn’t merely a decorative feature in the dining room. It becomes its very heart. A private table, a few guests, carefully selected ingredients, a wine that tells a different story, food cooked by the fire, a lighter dessert, a freshly picked herb, a touch from the chef. Luxury no longer lies in abundance. It lies in the perfection of the moment.

Michel Louis Lentz: the high standards of a chef, the freedom of a private home
Michel Louis Lentz is a French chef shaped by high standards, precision and the finest establishments. From his career, he has retained a sense of the right touch, attention to detail, the art of passing on knowledge, and that unseen rigour which allows a dish to appear simple whilst being deeply mastered.
At certain times of the year, Le Chalet Les Cerises also welcomes Chef Michel Lentz, creator of Gastrohumanisme®️, for exclusive experiences, private workshops, guided tastings and private dining services. With Mont Blanc as his backdrop, he aims to create culinary experiences here that cannot be found anywhere else: pop-up dining, private dinners, gourmet weekends, open-plan cooking, foraging, wines, the crackle of the fire, shared moments and time standing still around the table.
His cuisine draws on French and Savoyard traditions, local produce, herbs, seasonal vegetables and a more natural approach to food. She seeks to combine pleasure, health, indulgence and lightness, without unnecessary artifice.
A passionate explorer of flavour, Michel is interested in natural fermentation, lactic fermentation, maturation, textures and the subtle balances between acidity, freshness and aromatic depth. His research is moving in this direction: to create a cuisine that is vibrant, precise and generous, which nourishes as much as it delights.
Guided by this vision, he aims to bring together guest chefs, producers, market gardeners, cheesemakers, botanists and artisans of the natural world, to make Les Cerises a haven for intimate gastronomic experiences, blending the mountains, wellbeing and the art of hospitality.
Healthy cooking without sacrificing enjoyment
HERE, THE CUISINE DOES NOT SEEK TO IMPRESS. IT SEEKS TO LEAVE ITS MARK: PRECISION, FRESHNESS, DEPTH, AND A PLEASURE THAT LINGERS EVEN AFTER THE LAST GLASS.
Here, every choice counts: the quality of the produce, the precision of the seasoning, the lightness of a pastry, the depth of a texture, the absence of anything superfluous. Little by little, a cuisine that is clearer, more sensitive and more vibrant is taking shape.
Five experiences to create around the table
A unique dining experience, with the cooking taking place right before your eyes, in an intimate setting where the chefs’ movements, the aromas and the cooking process become an integral part of your dinner. Chef transforms the meal into a vibrant experience: you watch, you chat, you taste, and you gain a whole new appreciation.
Ideal for 10 to 12 guests.
Cuisine that celebrates delicate, fragrant flavours: more vibrant, more refined. Wild foraged ingredients, market-fresh produce, and culinary techniques that bring out the aromas.
Our recipes, with no added sugar and gluten-free, offer a pure, deep and authentic culinary delight.
3. A different way of hosting
Whether for an event, a private party, a business meeting or a private launch, the chalet can be transformed into a unique venue.
Guests mingle standing up, a drink in hand, enjoying canapés, wine, conversation, the open fire, the terrace and the view of Mont Blanc.
Up to 19 people.
Over two or three days, the dining table becomes a living space: private dinners, overnight stays at the chalet, a pastoral breakfast with views of Mont Blanc.
Culinary workshops: foraging for wild plants, herbal teas, sparkling herbal drinks, Savoyard barbecues…
People no longer come just for dinner. They settle in, relax and let the meals, the wellness treatments and Mont Blanc set the pace for the weekend.
5. The kitchen extends into the garden
In summer, the garden becomes a second dining room. The garden bar is the perfect spot for a few drinks to start the evening, the fire pit is lit, the Savoyard barbecue fills the air with its aroma, the drinks stay cool, and the mountains become part of the conversation. The meal moves away from the table without losing any of its elegance. It becomes more relaxed, more lively, and more in tune with the alpine landscape.
Useful information
The seated tables are designed for 10 to 12 people, with a maximum capacity of 14 guests. Standing cocktail receptions can accommodate up to 19 people. These experiences can be enhanced with food and wine pairings, spa treatments, overnight stays, fruit picking, a brazier or culinary entertainment, depending on the season.
What if dinner didn’t end at the table?
A POP-UP DINING EXPERIENCE MAY LAST JUST LONG ENOUGH FOR A DINNER. IT MAY ALSO BECOME THE STARTING POINT FOR A MORE COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE: WINE, SPAS, ACCOMMODATION, FIRE, GARDENS AND MOMENTS SHARED WITH A VIEW OF MONT BLANC.

1.
Wines as a complement to the menu
Each menu can be accompanied by a selection of wines chosen to complement the season, the ingredients and the atmosphere of the evening: wines from Savoie, hidden gems, fine wines or more daring pairings.

2.
When the body and the palate are in harmony
After a spa treatment, a massage, a yoga session or a sound meditation, mealtimes take on a whole new dimension: they feel lighter, more vibrant and more attuned to the body’s sensations.

3.
Sleeping where dinner began
When dinner extends into an overnight stay, there’s no need to hit the road again. Guests can enjoy the open fire, the spa, the suites and waking up to a view of Mont Blanc.
This approach is the perfect way to extend a wellness break with views of Mont Blanc, featuring a private spa, massages, yoga, sound therapy and time to relax at the chalet.
Before you start planning your table
How many guests can sit around the table?
The table is designed to maintain an intimate atmosphere. The ideal number of guests is between 10 and 12, so that everyone can see the chef, hear the fire, watch the chef at work and join in the conversation. The maximum capacity is 14 people, to ensure comfort, good service and the spirit of the restaurant.
Does the chef cook in the heart of the chalet?
Yes. The open-plan kitchen allows the chef to prepare certain dishes in front of the guests. Depending on the menu and the season, the fireplace, the plancha or the garden facilities can also become living stages: a cooking technique, a fragrance, a gesture, or an ingredient discovered in a new light.
Could one imagine a more relaxed, more carefree evening spent on one’s feet?
Oui. Le chalet peut accueillir un cocktail debout pour une soirée privée, un lancement, une rencontre professionnelle ou un moment confidentiel. La capacité est de 19 personnes en été, lorsque les baies vitrées s’ouvrent vers la terrasse et le jardin.
Is it possible to avoid getting back on the road after dinner?
Yes. In fact, it’s one of the most wonderful ways to enjoy the experience. The dinner can be extended into an overnight stay at the chalet, amidst the silence of the mountains, with a fire, a spa, the suites and a view of Mont Blanc when you wake up. The meal then ceases to be just an evening out: it becomes a holiday.
Can wine complement the story behind the menu?
Yes. A selection of drinks can be tailored to the menu, the season and the atmosphere of the restaurant: wines from Savoie, hidden gems, fine wines or more daring pairings. Wine isn’t simply added at the end; it can become a central theme of the dinner.
Is it possible to imagine a lighter yet still indulgent cuisine?
Yes. Depending on the menu and the guests’ requirements, certain dishes can be prepared to be gluten-free, free from refined sugars and free from unnecessary additives. The aim is not to take away the enjoyment, but to strive for cuisine that is healthier, easier to digest and more vibrant.
Can dinner turn into a break lasting several days?
Yes. A weekend break can include a private dinner, overnight stays, fruit-picking, visits to local producers, wellness treatments, wine tastings, a Savoyard barbecue or a cookery workshop. The chalet allows you to create a more leisurely, more immersive experience, where dining takes centre stage during your stay.
